(August 10, 2002)- Returning to the scene of his last $100,000 win, the Cole Norman trained Chauffe Au Rouge took home honors in the feature Saturday night.

It was an easy win for the six-year-old horse.

The winner was content to stalk the leaders, Glen's Devil Due and Thunder Fish before assuming command at the quarter pole. From there Melancon was able to hold off a game Rasby with Kris Havingfunow finishing third. Morning line favorite Candid Glen was scratched after acting up in the gate.
