(May 30, 2003)- On May 30, Retama Park received the approval of the Texas Racing Commission (TRC) to amend its 2003 Thoroughbred season. The TRC approved Retama Park's plan to eliminate the last four nights of the live Thoroughbred meet, Thursday, October 22 through Saturday, October 25. Additionally, Sunday, October 19 will be added to the new schedule and will represent a new closing night for Retama’s 2003 Thoroughbred season.
