(Thursday, August 6, 2009) - The trials for the $57,000 TQHA Claiming Futurity for two-year-olds going 350 yards were held on Thursday, August 6 at Sam Houston Race Park. Owner-trainer Robert Touchet's Goldin Ease, a sorrel colt by Holland Ease and the Clever Trick mare Goldie Girl, led all the way to win his trial by three-quarters of a length in :18.065 to become the fastest qualifier for the final. Goldin Ease was ridden to victory by David Alvarez.
