Executive Precision Emerges as
Fastest Qualifier for the $50,000 TQHA Sires' Cup Futurity at SHRP
(Houston, Texas - Friday, May 21) - Alberto O. Vera, Jr.'s
gelding Executive Precision set the bar too high for any other trial
entrants to match when he took the first trial for the $50,000 TQHA
Sires' Cup Futurity (RG2) by 1 3/4 lengths over Stones Puede in
:17.649 for 350 yards on Friday, May 21. Sent off as a prohibitive
3-to-5 favorite, the son of Executive Menace and the Dash for Destiny
mare Miss Ryon Dash is trained by Eusevio Huitron and was ridden
to victory by Enrique M. Gonzalez. The finals for the 350-yard $50,000
TQHA Sires' Cup Futurity (RG2) for two-year-olds will be held at
Sam Houston on Saturday, June 5.
Executive Precision was one of four horses that trainer Eusevio
Huitron qualified for the finals.
