| Zoomin For Bux Fastest Qualifier for June 18 $242,370 Retama Park Futurity
(June 9, 2006) - The trials for the $242,370 Retama Park Futurity (Gr. 1) were held at Retama Park on Sunday, June 4. Zoomin For Buz, owned and trained by Jose M. Joe Garza, was the fastest qualifier with a time of :17.436 for the 350 yards. The final will be held on Sunday, June 18. Reminder for Horsemen: The Retama Park Juvenile Stakes is open to any horses which ran in the trials and did not qualify in the top ten. Order of preference determined by times posted in the trials (i.e. 11th, 12th fastest times, etc.). The purse for the Retama Park Juvenile Stakes is $26,930, and the horse MUST START to receive purse money. Any purse money not awarded will be distributed to all horses starting in the stake.
