He was out first out of the gate and had created a one-and-a-half-length margin at the first call, then three. He eventually made it to the wire two lengths in front to triumph in the $100,000 B. F. Phillips, Jr. Stakes (RG3). Final time for the 400 yards was :19.483 on a fast track. Speed index earned for the effort was 103. With Eddie Sanchez aboard, it was another impressive win for the three-year-old gelding by Apollitical Blood out of Breck N Records, by Pyc Paint Your Wagon.

The 1-9 favorite returned $2.60 for the win. Carry the Memories was second, followed past the wire by Serendipity Rocks, Easy Blinkers, Clever Seis Cartel, Katch This Bird and This Guys a Volcom. Jordan Eagle and Kiss My Whuut were both scratched from the race.

With the winner's share of the purse, Trump My Record upped his career earnings closer to the $1 million mark. He is now currently at $979,068. This was his 13th win from 16 starts. Trainer Jose Sanchez, III has done such a great job with this horse.
