(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, November 9, 2019) - It was a tense few moments before the $904,631 Texas Classic Futurity (G1). Just after the field was loaded, Fm Dynasty Rock, in post 10, and Takillya Gurl, in post position 8, were fractious and were scratched at the gate. Takillya Gurl actually kicked Trump My Record next to her in post 7. After the two were scratched, the field was reloaded, and it was Chilitos out first, followed by Battle Weary and Trump My Record. However, two strides after the start, Trump My Record showed his ability. He grabbed the lead and that was it. He crossed the finish first by a half-length over Chilitos, who drifted in early. It was another one and one-half lengths to Battle Weary in third. Doc Hockaday completed the Superfecta, followed past the wire by A Painted Dynasty, My Fast Prize, Kj Frankie B and Dynast C.

Final time for the 400-yard futurity was :19.464 over a fast track. It was good for a speed index of 104.

Trump My Record, a colt by Apollitical Blood out of Breck N Records, by Pyc Paint Your Wagon, is owned by Cruz. E. Nava of San Antonio. He is trained by Jose Sanchez, III and was ridden to victory by Eddie Sanchez.

This was his third Futurity win and first Grade 1 victory. He won the Harrah's Futurity (G3) at Louisiana Downs in March and the Sam Houston Futurity (G2) in May. His career record is now at 10-8-1-0, and his earnings now total $791,153.
