Instygator Fastest Qualifier of All in Texas Classic Futurity Trials Sunday at Lone Star Park
(Grand Prairie, Texas - Sunday, November 8, 2020) - Runner-up in this year's All American Futurity, Instygator, posted the fastest time in the eighth of 15 trials Sunday nigh,t clocking the 400-yard distance in :19.759 seconds on a fast track. The effort earned him a spot in the $1,031,211 Texas Classic Futurity (G1) on November 28, which is closing night of the 2020 Fall Meeting of Champions.
Instygator, a gelded son of Ivory James out of Eye Popping, by Mr Eye Opener, is trained by Santos Carrizales, Jr. and was ridden to victory by 2019 North American Champion Jockey James Flores for owner Jose E. Guzman.
In the final trial, race 15, first time starter Big Eagle Gone posted the second fastest time of :19.815 under jockey Eddie Sanchez. His brother, Jose Luis Sanchez, III, trains the son of One Fabulous Eagle for owner Pachuan Suarez. His second lifetime start will be in the $1,031,211 Texas Classic Futurity (G1).
