Grade 1, $393,210 Texas Classic Derby Field Is Set, Final to Be Run Saturday, November at Lone Star Park

(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, November 7, 2020) - Butch and Stephanie Webb's Kiss My Astica was the fastest qualifier in the Texas Classic Derby Trials tonight, solidifying her spot in the final. Ridden by Noe Garcia, Jr., and trained by Wesley T. Giles, she stopped the timer at :21.605 seconds. The track was listed as fast for each of the five trials which were races 6 through 10. Fan Favorite Trump My Record impressively won the first trial, but his time was :21.823. That time held on until the final trial, which knocked him out of the final.
