EC Jet One Fastest Qualifier for $1,151,780 Grade 1 Texas Classic Futurity at Lone Star Park
(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, October 24, 2015) - The field was decided Saturday from 16 trials for the Texas Classic Futurity, and it was down to the 16th and final trial of the night that the last qualifier came.
Enrique Carrion's Ec Jet One posted the fastest time at 400 yards in the eighth race of :19.472 seconds on the track that was labeled good. The Louisiana Cartel colt out of Pretty Girl Perry by Mr Jess Perry was one of three total conditioned by trainer Judd Kearl that will return for the Futurity final on November 14 at Lone Star Park.
J & M Racing & Farm's Ferarri Gt narrowly made the top 10 in the final race of the night. Runner-up in the Dash for Cash Futurity earlier this meet, Ferarri Gt ran the 400 yards in :19.569.
