(Grand Prairie, Texas - Friday, October 23, 2020) - The purse for this year's Refrigerator Stakes (G1) is worth a cool $200,000 in purse money. That's twice as much as it's ever been, and the last time it was at $100,000 was in 2011. The 440-yard Grade 1 event will go on Sunday, October 25. It's the scheduled ninth race on the 11-race card. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., and first race post time is 6:35 p.m.

This 24th edition of the Refrigerator supports a field of 12 accomplished horses and is sure to be a super exciting race.

Breaking from the far outside is Jose Estrada Quarter Horses' Eysa Jess Jumpn. This graded stakes winner won the 2019 edition of the Dash For Cash Derby (G2) at Lone Star Park. Better than that, this four-year-old gelding by Heza Fast Dash has been on a huge win streak - 11straight. That's impressive. His career earnings are just shy of $1 million at $917,537. A win here and he will officially become a millionaire.

Eysa Jess Jumpn is trained by Joel Huitron and will be ridden by Pedro Espinosa.

Another to watch here is Dunn Ranch and Valeriano Racing Stables LLC's Dexxter. This four-year-old gelding by Corona Cartel is also on a streak of three straight Grade 1 wins, including the Remington Park Invitational Championship and the All-American Gold Cup. His earnings just this year are $221,162 leaving his career total sitting at $460,012. Monty Arrossa is Dexxter's conditioner, and he has named 2019 World Champion Jockey James Flores to ride.
