Ronnie James Fastest Qualifier for Grade 1, $1,000,000 Estimated Texas Classic Futurity Scheduled for Saturday, November 10 at Lone Star Park

(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, October 20, 2012) - Ronnie James, owned by Brett Mennen and trained by Heath Taylor, was the fastest qualifier among 136 starters in the Texas Classic Futurity Trials at Lone Star Park Saturday night. With John Hamilton aboard, the gelding by Valiant Hero dashed 400 yards in 19.436 seconds over a fast track.

The Grade 1, $1,000,000 estimated, Texas Classic Futurity, the richest annual horse race in Texas, will be run Saturday, November 10, closing night of Lone Star Park's 2011 Fall Meeting of Champions for Quarter Horses.
