Friday Showcases the Divisional Grade 3 $20,000 Guaranteed Arabian Stallion Stakes at Lone Star Park
(Grand Prairie, Texas - Thursday, October 15, 2015) - Topping the racing schedule for Friday, October 16 are the divisional Grade 3 $20,000-guaranteed Arabian Stallion Stakes for three-year-olds & up, colt & gelding division and filly & mare division, each at one mile on the main track. Nine live races are scheduled. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. First race post time 6:35 p.m.
Coupled Entry of Royal Richness and Our Princess the Morning Line Favorites at 8-5 in Filly & Mare Division
ROYAL RICHESS and OUR PRINCESS will run as a coupled entry for the owner partnership of Cre Run Enterprises LLC & Ann Fostock of Doswell, Virginia. The entry has been assigned morning line odds of 8-5 in the filly division of the Grade 3 Arabian Stallion Stakes. OUR PRINCESS, a five-year-old mare by NIVOUR DE CARDONNE, is a multiple graded stakes winner of $89,788 from a career record of 69-13-2-2. Graded stakes placed ROYAL RICHESS, also five, is by sire TH RICHIE and is seeking that first graded win. Her career record is 12-4-4-2 with earnings of $57,223. Both are trained by Lynn Ashby.
The Grade 3 Arabian Stallion Stakes filly and mare division has been carded as the third of nine races Friday. Approximate post time is 7:27 p.m.

Paddys Day Leads the Field in the G3 Arabian Stallion Stakes Colt & Gelding Division
Quarter Moon Ranch's, LLC's PADDYS DAY, a multiple graded stakes winner of $128,708, looks to be the one to beat in the colt & gelding division of the Grade 3 Arabian Stallion Stakes. The four-year-old colt by BURNING SAND has won 10 of 13 lifetime starts. PADDYS DAY is trained by Scott Powell.
Scheduled as the seventh race on the card, the one mile stakes will be contested on the main track. Post time is 9:11 p.m.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Ed Wilson with the Texas Arabian Breeders' Association will be receiving the Racing Tent of Honor Award presented by the Arabian Jockey Club here tomorrow. The award recognizes a person for length of service to the breed, the courage to do what is best for the horse, being above reproach, devoted to the horse and community and has provided service in the areas of leadership, heritage, education, and/or research. The meeting is in the Paddock Lounge on the fourth level of the Grandstand at 3:30 p.m. |
