Hesa Sweet First Down Top Qualifier for Grade 1 Lone Star Speedhorse Paint and Appaloosa Futurity to Be Held November 3
(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, October 13, 2012) - Hesa Sweet First Down, owned by Carole Vann Stacy and trained by Matt Whitekiller, posted the fastest time under rider, Jose Alvarez, winning the final 400 yard trial in :19.774 seconds over a fast track tonight at Lone Star Park. The colt by Sweet First Down and nine others will return Saturday, November 3 for the Grade 1, $50,000 added, Lone Star Speedhorse Paint and Appaloosa Futurity. Tonight’s effort earned a speed index of 89.
