(Grand Prairie, Texas - Sunday, September 27, 2020) - Jody Garcia's Onemoreandimgone V, with Luis Vivanco aboard, won the 23rd edition of the $364,095 Dash For Cash Futurity (G2) late Sunday night at Lone Star Park. Fractious in the post parade, the bay gelding by Jess Lips was down to business from the start. He completed the 400 yards in :19.493 seconds and paid $14.60 for a $2 win wager. Stablemate and post time favorite Pyc Painted Streaker led the first half of the race, only to concede to the winner in the final 100 yards. Both are trained by leading trainer Angel Sanchez.
"He had a few problems in his first few starts, but we always knew we had a good horse," said winning trainer Angel Sanchez. "We had faith in him and knew he had a good chance in the final. Luis and Ivan have ridden well for us."
Onemoreandimgone V, including the win Sunday, has raced six times, with four wins and two seconds. He added $145,538 to his earnings, which now total $170, 688.
