Her O Don Won Emerges as Fastest Qualifier for $454,350 Grade 1 Dash For Cash Futurity to Be Held October 5
(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, September 21, 2013) - Her O Don Won trained by Russell Harris and ridden by Larry Payne, posted the fastest time out of 13 trial races over a fast track Saturday at Lone Star Park. The gelding by Valiant Hero broke alertly and was in front to the wire in the eighth trial race of the night. His final time for the 400 yard effort was :19.570, earning a speed index of 95. Bred and owned by Richard R. Scott of Wimberley, Texas, Her O Don Won will return Saturday, October 5 for the Grade 1, $454,350 Dash for Cash Futurity.

The Dash for Cash Futurity will be run Saturday, October 5, 2013. All horses that ran in the trials, but did not qualify for the final, remain eligible for the Dash for Cash Juvenile Stakes also on October 5. Preference will be given to horses based on their times in the trials.
On The Track: More live racing action Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 26-28. Featured on Saturday, September 28 will be the 17th running of the $75,000-guaranteed Refrigerator Handicap, Grade 1, for three-year-olds & up at 440 yards, the 4th running of the $30,000-added Merial Distaff Challenge for fillies & mares, three-year-olds & up, at 400 yards and the 4th running of the $30,000-added Red Cell Distance Challenge for three-year-olds & up, at 870 yards.
