(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, September 20, 2019) - The Texas Arabian Derby (G3) was the first of the Arabian stakes to go, and Rosebrook Farms LLC's favored RB Rich Lyke Me was such an easy winner. The four-year-old colt by Majid Al Arab was so much the best that he just coasted around the track to victory by 11 1/2 lengths. Jockey Ernesto Valdez-Jiminez never had to offer any encouragement whatsoever. Final time for the 1 1/16 miles distance was 2:00.28 on a fast main racetrack. The winner is trained by Jerenesto Torrez.

Mutuels returned $2.10 on the winner. AA Dusbuster was second, followed by AA Rich Mother, Vazs Destiny SV and Big Charlie.

RB Kinetic Pulls Away in the Texas Arabian Oaks

The Texas Arabian Oaks (G3) was almost a carbon copy of the Derby. The winner, Byerley Racings LLC's favored RB Kinetic, was on an easy lead from the start. Going into the final furlong, it looked as if two challengers were going to go right by her. The moment they were right within her sights, she took off like a shot and won by 4 1/2 lengths. She must have been bored running on the lead by herself.

RB Kinetic is a four-year-old filly by Baseqal Khalediah. She is trained by Nicole Ruggeri and was ridden by Celso Rodriguez.

RC Whistlin Dixie was second at 22-1, followed by Uptown Lady Arabella, Vixen MHF, Amys Little Diva AA, Djudju SEQ, Big Purity and AA Rich Whiskey. RB Lara was a late scratch.
