A full field of 10 will compete for a share of the $100,000 purse in the Nevill Stakes, including Edgar Rosales' Ss Classyjess. The four-year-old daughter of Rock Solid Jess, out of High Class Broad, by Royal Shakem, has won four of her six starts this year, earning more money from those starts than any other in in the race. She is trained by Jose Carrizales and will be ridden by J. Ignacio Garcia.

One Ss Classyjess will have to give her best effort against is Jose U. Oviedo's Mr Tereso. The three-year-old gelding by Man Who Would be King, out of My Cold Corona, by Behold a Corona, has won three of four start this year. In his most recent, he was runner-up by a length to Trump My Record in the Firecracker Derby at Delta Downs. Unfortunately, he was disqualified and placed seventh for interference. He is trained by Fernando Lopez and will be ridden by Luis L. Vivanco.

Grade 3, Texas Arabian Oaks & Derby Sunday

Trainer Jerenesto Torrez is always one to watch in the Arabian races. His charges win a large percentage them, and you can almost count on a win from his stable in the $30,000 Texas Arabian Derby (G3) at a mile and a sixteenth this Sunday. Torrez trains three of the five starters, including Rosebrook Farms LLC's RB Rich Like Me, winner of five of his 10 career starts. He is the 2-5 morning line choice. The only other winner in the race is Garrett and Lisa Ford's AA Rich Mother, also trained by Torrez. The Derby is the scheduled third race.

The $30,000 Texas Arabian Oaks (G3) for fillies at one mile is the fifth race on the card. Byerley Racing LLC's RB Kinetic, the only stakes winner in the field, is the morning line favorite, but she has never competed at the distance. Jon R. Henningsgard's Uptown Lady Arabella could get the win if distance proves to be a factor for the favorite.
