The Texas Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association and the Texas Thoroughbred HBPA, Inc. are in the process of conducting elections for their respective Boards of Directors.

Ballots were mailed out during the month of November to anyone who started a horse in Texas during the past 12 months and complied with their respective boards' specific bylaws. If you did not get a ballot and met the above criteria, please call Wanda O’Banan at (512) 467-9799 and request a ballot immediately.

Ballots for the Texas Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association, which represents Quarter Horse and Paint Horse interests, are required to be received back no later than December 29, 2003. Members must have their ballots back for the Texas Thoroughbred HBPA, Inc., which represents Thoroughbred and Arabian horse interests, no later than December 15, 2003.
