(Austin, Texas - Thursday, November 6, 2014) -The Texas Horsemen's Benevolent & Protective Association (THBPA), the Quarter Horse representative partner in the Texas Horsemen's Partnership, LLP (THP), announces that the 2015 election for the THBPA Board of Directors will begin with a nomination meeting in the Chaplaincy room inside the racing office at Lone Star Park on Saturday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. All members of THBPA are invited to attend and participate in the nominating process.

All nominations from the membership require two seconds in order for the nominee to be accepted. An eligible member may also be nominated by submitting a petition containing the signatures of 15 members in good standing. All such petitions must be recieved by November 30th.
