The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park (www.theshowgrounds.com) will host the 2008 Verizon Wireless Friday Concert series, which will take place on the Bud Light stage from Friday, June 27 through Friday, September 12, 2008. The weekly post-racing concert series will include performances from some of today’s top-selling national country music artists. In addition, tickets for each concert event include free admission to live Quarter Horse racing at Sam Houston Race Park on the evening of the performance. A special on-sale advance lawn seating ticket price of $10 per ticket is available for all shows during the first weekend tickets are available. Tickets for each show in the Friday Concert Series will go on sale on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 10 a.m. and are available online at www.theshowgrounds.com.
