(Houston, Texas - February 7, 2011) - Due to freezing temperatures predicted for a few days this week, Sam Houston Race Park management is advising horsemen to contact the racing office before shipping in to train this week in case there is a need to delay opening the track for training.

The freeze possibilities do not currently appear likel to include a hard freeze. Therefore, there are no water issues expected.
