(Houston, Texas - February 2, 2011) - The racetrack at Sam Houston Race Park was closed today due to a frozen surface. Tomorrow, Thursday, February 2, management expects to be able to open the track for training from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Horsemen are urged to contact the racing office before shipping horses to the track.
