Retama Park will conduct a number of training races for 2008 beginning on Friday, February 1st. These training races will cost $20.00 for horses stabled on the Retama Park grounds and $35.00 for horses stabled off the track's grounds. The training race fees must be paid prior to running. Following are important notes regarding the training races and the schedule:

• Entries for training races will be taken starting Tuesdays and close on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.
• The track will close for training on training race days at 11:00 a.m.
• Post Time for first race each training race day is approximately 12:00 p.m.
• March 21: normal track closing time of 12:00 p.m.
• Post Time for schooling races on March 21 is 7:00 p.m.
• **Note: Entries for Thursday, April 3 will be taken starting on Monday, March 31 and close on Wednesday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m.
• A copy of the foal certificate is required to be on file in the Racing Office as papers will be used in paddock identification.
• Rider and pony person fees are the responsibility of the trainer.
• You must head your own in the starting gate.
