Beginning on Tuesday, August 16, Retama Park will begin offering Quarter Horse works on Tuesday and Wednesdays after the break. Thus, Quarter Horse works will be offered from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

According to Retama Park Racing Secretary James Leatherman, the decision was made in light of the high volume of Quarter Horses that have been working on Wednesdays since the track's Fall Thoroughbred Meet opened on August 5.
