Manor Downs is set to open its 2005 meet this weekend, and the track near Austin, Texas has announced early post times for Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6 to accomodate a large number of trial races each day.

Post time for the first race on Saturday, March 5 will be 12:00 p.m., with 14 races scheduled. All 14 races will be 300-yard trials for the $50,000-added Longhorn Futurity (Gr. III) for two-year-olds, which will be run on Saturday, March 19.

Post time for the first race on Sunday, March 6 will be 9:00 a.m., with 21 races scheduled. Races 1-7 will be 350-yard trials for the $15,000-added Manor Downs Maiden Allowance Fillies Division, which will be run on Sunday, March 20. Races 8-16 will be 350-yard trials for the $15,000-added Manor Downs Maiden Allowance Colts & Geldings Division, which will be run on Saturday, March 19. Races 17-21 will be 350-yard trials for the $30,000-added (+ $18,530 carryover) Longhorn Derby (Gr. III) for 3-year-olds, which will be run on Sunday, March 20.
