The National HBPA Liability Insurance Program, which is available to Texas Horsemen's Partnership (THP) members through Lavin Insurance Group, LLC, has announced a slight increase in premiums. The premiums, which run on an annual basis from November 1 to November 1, are increasing from $75 per horse to $80 per horse, with a minimum premium of $160.00 (two horses or the minimum money).

The limits on the policy have not changed, with a $1,000,000 per occurrence limit. Lavin Insurance Group, LLC is rated A++ by A.M. Best.
