Lone Star Park 2012 Spring Thoroughbred Meeting Reserved Seats and $avings $pecials on Sale This Monday, March 12
(Grand Prairie, Texas - Thursday, March 8, 2012) - Reserved seating for Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie's upcoming Spring Thoroughbred Season will go on sale Monday (March 12) at 8:30 a.m. The track's 53-date
Spring Thoroughbred Season will kick off 13 weeks of live horse racing on Thursday, April 12.
Customers can reserve individual counter, terrace and outdoor apron seats for live racing and Concert VIP packages online at LoneStarPark.com, or all live racing reserved seat options by phone at (972) 263-PONY (7669) for credit card orders only, or in person at Lone Star Park's East Gate Will Call on weekdays from 8:30
a.m. to 5 p.m.
Reserved seating options range from $8 to $27 per person (includes admission), except on big event days,
which have separate pricing plans.

The Spring Thoroughbred Season will also feature the 2012 Lone Star Music Series at Lone Star Park. The lineup for the 2012 Lone Star Music Series is the Randy Rogers Band (April 13), Gary Allan (April 14),
Casey Donahew Band (April 20), Ted Nugent (April 21), Stoney LaRue (May 11), Eli Young Band
(June 8), Pat Green (July 3), Josh Abbott Band (July 6), and Billy Currington (July 7). Special VIP concert packages for Randy Rogers Band, Gary Allan, Ted Nugent, Eli Young Band, Pat Green
and Billy Currington will be available online only beginning March 12 at LoneStarPark.com. Priced at $62 or $72 with valet parking (plus tax and handling), these packages include admission, racing program, reserved
seats with buffet and two free beer tickets in the Post Time Pavilion Garden and admittance to the special VIP

"Big Event Days" have separate pricing plans. Those days are -- Kentucky Derby Day (Saturday, May 5), Preakness Stakes Day (Saturday, May 19), WinStar Million Day (Memorial Day, Monday,
May 28), Belmont Stakes Day (Saturday, June 9), and Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration (Wednesday, July 4).
Other major promotional dates include - Family Fun Day on Sunday, April 15; Mother's Day (Sunday,
May 13); Father's Day (Sunday, June 17); and Closing Day (Sunday, July 8).
Customers may also reserve carrel seats for simulcast racing in the Bar &Book by phone beginning Monday, March 12. In addition, reserved tables in the sports bar and lounge area may be reserved by phone for big events
days only.
Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, a Class I racetrack operated by Global Gaming Solutions LLC, offers a 53-day 2012 Spring Thoroughbred Season which opens Thursday, April 12 and concludes on Sunday, July 8. Live racing will be held four days a week, Thursday and Friday at 6:35 p.m. (except Thursday, May 31 and Thursday, July 5 when there will be no live racing), and Saturday and Sunday at 1:35 p.m. The racing program on Memorial Day, May 28, will start at 1:35 p.m. Special twilight programs will be held at 5 p.m. on both Tuesday, July 3 (with post-race concert by award-winning country artist Pat Green) and Wednesday, July 4 (with the Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration).
The track's 26-day, 2012 Fall Meeting of Champions for American Quarter Horses will be held from Sept. 14 to Nov. 10.
Lone Star Park is also home to the multi-million dollar simulcast racebook, sports bar and event venue, Bar & Book. The 36,000 square foot venue is open to the public 363 days a year.
