Reserved Seating for The LSP Thoroughbred Meet Go On Sale Monday, March 3

Reserved seats for Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie’s seventh Thoroughbred season go on sale Monday, March 3, at 8:30 a.m. (CST). Patrons can reserve their favorite seating plans for the upcoming Thoroughbred season in person at Lone Star Park or by calling (972) 263-PONY or (800) 795-RACE. The North Texas racetrack’s 15-week Thoroughbred season begins on Thursday, April 3, and continues for 70 race days through Sunday, July 13.

Racing will be conducted on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights at 6:35 p.m. (Note: There will be no Wednesday evening racing until April 30). Weekend and holiday action will begin at 1:35 p.m., and there will be special 5:00 p.m. post times on July 3 and July 4.

There are plenty of daily reserved seating options on the Terrace Level (Grandstand’s second floor), Silks Dining Terrace (Grandstand’s fourth floor), Grandstand Apron (outdoors) and Post Time Pavilion.

Private box seating and tables in Silks Dining have traditionally been the areas of prime choice.

The cost of a reserved seat includes admission.

Big Event Days have separate pricing plans. Those days are Kentucky Derby Day (Saturday, May 3), Lone Star Derby Day (Saturday, May 10), Lone Star Million Day (Monday, May 26), NTRA All-Star Jockey Championship Night (Friday, June 20) and – new this year – two Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration Nights (Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4).

Ticket phone lines – accepting credit card orders only – will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reserved seating may also be purchased at Lone Star Park’s East Gate Will Call with cash or credit from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The East Gate Will Call will open early at 8:30 a.m. on Monday (March 3) for advance orders.

Also, there are a variety of options for groups of 20 or more. For more information, contact Lone Star Park’s group sales department at (972) 237-1150.
