On Tuesday, October 30, the THP will host a Horsemen's Appreciation Party at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, as well as a trick or treat hay ride for the children of horsemen. The party will be held in the Texas Thoroughbred Sales Pavilion from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. To participate in the trick or treat hayride, have your children at the racing office parking lot at 4:30 p.m.

The trick or treat hayride will leave the racing office parking lot promptly at 5:00 p.m. It will offer horsemen's children the opportunity to safely trick or treat at Lone Star Park.

In addition to the hay ride, costume contests will be held for four different age groups:

• 0 -3 years old
• 4 - 6 years old
• 7 - 9 years old
• 10 - 12 years old

After the hay ride, the participants will join the Horsemen's Appreciation Party in the Texas Thoroughbred Sales Pavilion.

The Horsemen's Appreciation Party will begin at 6:00 p.m., and dinner will be served until 8:00 p.m. Two Way Street will provide the musical entertainment for the evening, and they are set to play from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. In addition, all attendees will receive a free T-shirt and there will be a cash bar available.
