The annual Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration will be held at Lone Star Park on July 3 & 4. There will be two special nights of spectacular fireworks. Each 20-minute show will be choreographed to a rousing patriotic soundtrack.

After enjoying the show on Thursday, July 3, one lucky winner will drive off in a new 2008 Ford Mustang*, thanks to a partnership between Lone Star Park and the North Texas Ford Dealers. Anyone who visits a North Texas Ford Dealer in June through Wednesday, July 2 can pick up a "Lone Star Park Trackpack" that contains an entry form, two general admission tickets, and a general parking coupon. The entry form must be delivered to Lone Star Park by 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. After the final race and just before the fireworks show on Thursday July 3, ten participants randomly chosen earlier in the day will each have the opportunity to select the key that opens the door to the new car.

On July 4, Lone Star Park will be giving away a trip for two (2) to the Nextel Cup race in Miami, Florida from TNT**. Customers will receive an entry form at the admissions gate to enter the contest. All completed entries must be placed in the designated contest bins by 2:00 p.m. One winner will be drawn from all the entries received.

In addition to the fireworks and racing, there will be plenty of additional entertainment for the whole family such as pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, and much more. General admission is just $3.
