(Grand Prairie, Texas - March 8, 2011) - Reserved seating for Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie’s upcoming Spring Thoroughbred Season will go on sale Monday, March 14 at 8:30 a.m. The track’s 52-date Spring Thoroughbred Season will kick off 13 weeks of live horse racing on Thursday, April 14.

Customers can reserve seats online at LoneStarPark.com, by calling (972) 263-PONY (7669) for credit card orders only, or in person at Lone Star Park’s East Gate Will Call on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Reserved seating options range from $8 to $27 per person (includes admission), except on big event days, which have separate pricing plans.

The Spring Thoroughbred Season will also feature the 2011 Lone Star Music Series at Lone Star Park. The lineup for the 2011 Lone Star Music Series is the Randy Rogers Band (April 15), Ted Nugent (April 16), Casey Donahew Band (May 6), Eli Young Band (June 10), Stoney LaRue (June 24), Reckless Kelly and Josh Abbott (July 8) and Dwight Yoakam (July 9).

Special VIP concert packages for Randy Rogers Band, Ted Nugent and Dwight Yoakam will be available online only beginning March 14 at LoneStarPark.com. Lone Star Park’s 52-day 2011 Spring Thoroughbred Season will run four days a week every Thursday and Friday at 6:35 p.m. (except Thursday, June 2 and Thursday, July 7 when there will be no live racing), and Saturday and Sunday at 1:35 p.m. starting on April 14. The Lone Star Million Day program on Memorial Day will start at 1:35 p.m. and special twilight programs with post-race holiday fireworks on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4 (Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration) will commence at 5 p.m.
