LOPE Texas to Present Special Clinic
with Legendary Horseman Ray Hunt on March 11-13 LOPE Texas
has announced that it is honored to be hosting a clinic by legendary horsemen
Ray Hunt on March 11-13, 2006.
According to LOPE Texas Executive Director Lynn Rorke, "Ray Hunt's
attitude and philosophy about the horse and its relationship to its rider,
combined with his techniques that have been refined over 30 years, will
be one of the most inspiring influences on you and your horse."
She continued, "You'll see this master horseman interact naturally
with horses, without gimmicks or force. You'll experience and begin to
understand the mental togetherness that eliminates forcing and leads a
horse to learn to accept your ideas as his ideas."
The clinic will consist of two classes – Colt Starting and Horsemanship.
The Colt Starting class will be in the mornings. The cost per horse and
rider for this class is $500*. The Horsemanship class will be in the afternoons.
The cost per horse and rider for this class is $500*. Auditors are welcome
as well ($30 per person, per day).
*Stabling and/or arena use fees aren’t included and may be an additional
charge.
