Immigration Officials Targeting the Horse Racing Industry

(Austin, Texas - January 20, 2011) - Over the last few weeks, immigration officials have begun to turn their attention to the horse racing industry in Kentucky and Louisiana, and horsemen in other states can expect similar attention. The Texas Horsemen's Partnership is an affiliate of the National HBPA, and that organization has been involved with talks with immigration officials in hopes of coming to a solution that is sensible for horsemen and satisfactory to immigration officials.
