National HBPA Convention To Be Held in
Cleveland July 9 - 13 The National HBPA will be holding its
semi-annual convention on July 9 – 13 in Cleveland, Ohio. The convention
will be hosted by the Ohio HBPA at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, and
it will include the National HBPA’s biannual election of national
officers. Texas Horsemen’s Partnership (THP) Chairman John Roark
will be up for election for a second term as the National HBPA President.
The National HBPA convention is open to all HBPA members. Since the
THP is an affiliate member of the National HBPA, all THP members are welcome
to attend. Most committee and board meetings are open to the public, and
there will also be educational seminars that are open to the public.
Additionally, the Ohio HBPA will be providing members with a Great Lake
Dinner Cruise through the harbor and a day at the races at Thistledown
Racecourse.
