Parent Company for Retama Park Announces Management Changes

On November 29, Call Now Inc., the parent company of Retama Park, announced the retirements William M. Allen, chairman and chief executive officer, and Robert Buffkin, president and director. In addition, it was announced that Thomas Johnson and Christopher Hall have been elected as directors. Johnson will be taking over as president and chief executive officer. Bryan Brown and William Allen will also remain as directors.

Allen has signed a three-year consulting agreement with Call Now and agreed to sell a portion of his stock in the company to Hall, who will become the largest individual shareholder. Allen will remain the company's second-largest shareholder.

Buffkin has purchased a Call Now subsidiary, Andice Development Co. Andice Development owns undeveloped land in Georgetown, Texas.

According to Allen, "I am confident that Chris and Tom Johnson will bring a new energy into our operations and prospects. I am pleased that Chris and Tom have made this commitment to Call Now, and this will enable Bob Buffkin and I to withdraw from day-to-day operations with confidence in the future."

Johnson added, "Through our extensive involvement with Call Now stemming from our interests in Retama Park racetrack, I believe that the appointment of Chris Hall and I to our new positions with Call Now represents a natural progression of our relationship with the company. I look forward to successfully meeting the challenges and pursuing the opportunities that are available to Call Now."
